Oriental Seafood Festival by Chin Chin from 7th to 16th July at The Residency
The Oriental Seafood Festival happening from the 7th till 16th July at The Residency, will offer a lavish spread of sumptuous grilled, steamed, pan-braise and stir-fried fish, prawns, lobster and the more exotic and adventurous squid, crab and pomfret. From mild fragrant aromas to downright fiery spices we have it all this year. The fest has become an annual affair, after the immense response to last year’s edition and the specially curated menu will feature a range of Oriental Recipes.
The menu features some mouth-watering dishes like Szechwan style spicy broth paired with the Crab Claws, Butterfly Prawns and Paper Wrapped Seer Fillet besides a range of choices from Red Snapper, Grouper, Pomfret, Sea Bass & Lady Fish to work up your appetite. The mains with YueYang Spicy Barbecue-style Lobster, a tangy, spicy dish that blends amazingly well with Crabmeat Fried Rice is a seafood lover’s delight. Those who like things spicy must not miss the Thai Curry and if mustard gives you your culinary tryst, then try the Mustard Prawns. For a sweeter aftertaste, we recommend the fried coconut ice cream, a twist to the all-time favourite recipe.
